Paolo Ulian

Paolo Ulian was born in the city of Massa in 1961. Later in 1990, Paolo Ulian obtained his degree in industrial design from the I.S.I.A. Institute of Florence. He won the international prize "Design for Europe" at the exhibit "Interieur90" in Kortijk, Belgium.

From 1990 to 1992 he worked as assistant for the studio Enzo Mari in Milan.

In 2000 he partecipated at the exhibit "Salone Satellite" in Milan where he won first place in the "Design Report Award", sponsored by the German magazine Design Report. In 2000 he attended the Biennale exhibit of Saint-Etienne in France. From 2002 until today he participates in the stands organized by Droog Design inside the "Salone del Mobile" exhibit of Milan. During the same year he won first place in the contest "Dedalus/Abet Laminati European Award" in Italy. Since 1993 his works were presented at a number of Italian and international collective exhibits where he cooperated with many companies such as: Driade, Indarte, View, Sensi&C, Progetti, FontanaArte, Seccocose, Luminara, BBB Emmebonacina, Zani&Zani, Droog Design.

Paolo Ulian designed the Cabriolet table/seat and the Bowl, clothes hanger/objects tray for FontanaArte.
