FLOS

The company Flos was established in 1962 in the Italian town of Merano with the aim of producing modern illumination with the idea that Italy should become the home of the new interior culture. For developing new concepts in illumination, the company obtains support from Achilles Castiglion, Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, and Tobia Scarpa.

The company Flos is continuously looking for new talents on the international level. In 1988, the company commenced cooperation with Philippe Starck who is the artistic director of the company today. Flos offers not only a comprehensive assortment of apartment and commercial illumination products, but also custom-manufactured products that can be easily incorporated into any interior in offices, hotels or shops.
